SOTA USM Conducts New Student Intake Interviews for Academic Session 2026/2027

PENANG, 15 June – The School of the Arts (SOTA), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), successfully conducted its New Student Intake Interviews for the 2026/2027 Academic Session, welcoming prospective students from various artistic disciplines.

The selection process involved a range of assessments tailored to each field of study. Candidates applying for the Fine Arts and Product Design programmes underwent a Drawing Test, while applicants for Acting and Directing, as well as Music, participated in audition sessions designed to evaluate their talent, creativity, potential, and suitability for their chosen programmes.

The programme was further honoured by a visit from the Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Sains Malaysia, Professor Dato' Seri Ir.
