History is made once again at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)!
Our shining star, Nuha Annisa binti Mohamed Nazmi, final-year Product Design student from SOTA USM, has been crowned Malaysia National Runner-up at the prestigious James Dyson Award 2025! 
But that’s not all her groundbreaking innovation, ‘Ecliptica’, a tactile and audio-based learning tool designed to empower B2 and B3 visually impaired students in understanding astronomy, has ascended beyond national borders earning a coveted spot in the Top 20 Globally announced by James Dyson USA!
This recognition places USM on the global stage of innovation, inclusivity, and excellence, proving once again that our students are world-class visionaries shaping the future.
Guided by her supervisor, Ts. Dr. Siti Suhaily Surip, Nuha Annisa’s journey exemplifies the USM spirit bold ideas, impactful design, and a mission to make education accessible for all.
